What's tested, and how to report a gap
This describes what the site and the app already do, and what an automated check confirms on every release. It's not a claim of full compliance with any standard — it's what's actually built and actually checked.
Keyboard
The header's menu and every dialog — Support, Open PAVONA, the command palette, the patch-notes reader — open, close and give focus back to the control that opened them without a mouse: Tab reaches the first item, and Escape closes the dialog or menu and returns focus to where it started.
Skip past the header
A "Skip to content" link, visible when it takes keyboard focus, jumps straight to the main content on the home page, Trust and Status — press Tab once on either page to reach it.
Motion and high contrast
The animated stained-glass window and its moving backgrounds turn off for a system set to reduce motion. In forced-colors or high-contrast mode, the decorative glass steps aside for plain borders and system colors instead of covering the page.
Contrast, layout and touch size
An automated check compares each line of text against the color it actually sits on — not the color the stylesheet intended — in every theme the site offers. The same run checks every page for sideways scrolling or clipped text at a phone width and a laptop width, and confirms every visible link, button and toggle measures at least 44 by 44 pixels on a touch screen.
Report a gap
Found something that doesn't work with a keyboard, a screen reader, a magnifier or a high-contrast setting? Write to outreach@priest.locker with the page and what happened.
